The PGO Hemera is a three-door station wagon from the French car manufacturer PGO Automobiles . The model premiered in 2008 at the Paris World of the Automobile . The model was named after the Greek deity Hemera , who is a personification of the day.

The Hemera is based on the P2 platform of the P22 Concept developed the year before . The Hemera shares the technology with the Cévennes, which was developed at the same time . The main differences between the two models are the type of construction. The Hemera is a mixture of a coupé and a station wagon . In the professional world, this hybrid form has been called the shooting brake since the late 1960s .

Depending on the shape used, some visual differences emerged. The Hemera can be recognized from the front by its own front apron . This has larger air inlets than that of its convertible sister model. The air inlet surrounds are made of black plastic as standard, but can also be chrome-plated on request. Another difference is the positioning of the exterior mirrors . These are attached to the doors of the Hemera. On the other hand, the manufacturer made bigger differences in the rear of the two vehicles. Completely different body parts are used for the Hemera than for the Cévennes, giving the vehicle a more modern look than its retro-look sister model. Nevertheless, both models are assembled using the so-called model box principle , which results in considerable cost savings in production. In addition to its unusual design, a special feature of the Hemera is the rear window that can be raised at the push of a button , which enables the trunk to be loaded and unloaded .
