Under the name ZNTK Poznań Regio Tramp are diesel-powered railcars of ZNTK Poznań (Poznańskie Zakłady Naprawcze Taboru Kolejowego), respectively. The one-piece locomotives are called the PKP series SA105 , while the two-part locomotives are called the PKP series SA108 .

history

Until the 1990s, PKP owned six Kolzam railcars ( Kolzam SPA-66 and Kolzam 208M ) and six ZNTK Poznań railcars ( SA101 and SA102 ). In order to modernize its fleet, PKP planned not only to acquire Pendolinos and the FS E.405 and FS E.412 locomotives , but also to purchase new railcars. In addition to ZNTK Poznań , Kolzam also took part in tenders for railcars. The tender for the Pendolino was later withdrawn, due to financial difficulties the locomotives were sold. In 2000, the financing of regional transport was changed, whereby funds were available for the purchase of railcars. Based on the experience of previous preparations, Kolzam ordered the SA107 and SA109 series and ZNTK Poznań ordered the SA105 and SA108 series .

construction

The SA105 consists of a single passenger compartment , which is equipped with low-floor technology in the middle . The SA108 has two passenger compartments that are connected by a joint . The railcars are used for regional traffic on branch lines, mainly on non-electrified routes. A tripartite implementation was planned, but was not implemented.

Type 213M vehicles each have two single doors with a width of 800 mm, whereas type 213Ma vehicles have a 1,300 mm wide double door in the middle of the passenger cell. 213M and 213Ma have a Scharfenberg coupling and can be driven in double traction. Instead of mirrors, the vehicles are equipped with cameras. The first vehicle of the type 213M (SA105-001) did not have a toilet cabin.

Type 215M vehicles have a 1300 mm wide double door on each of the two vehicles. The vehicles are equipped with screw couplings. In some vehicles, the space for taking bicycles has been increased, resulting in a lower number of seats.

Both vehicles of the type 213M and 213Ma as well as vehicles of the type 215M have a single-axle bogie (type 19MN) and are equipped with disc brakes.

Modernizations

SA108-001

In 2009 both vehicles of the type 213M (SA105-001 and SA105-002) were modernized, toilets and air conditioning systems were retrofitted. In August 2015, the Office of the Greater Poland Voivodeship announced a tender for a further modernization of the SA105-001. In 2013 two vehicles of the type 215M (SA108-002 and SA108-003) were equipped with a new passenger information system and a new battery. SA108-001 followed in 2014 and SA108-004 and SA108-005 in July 2015.

In the course of a repair, the vehicles SA105-105 (213Ma) and SA108-006 (215M) were modernized. In addition to new video technology and a new passenger information system , a system for automatic passenger counting was also installed. On the 215M vehicle, one of the two toilets has been removed to give more space for passengers. The modernizations of SA105-101 and SA105-102 followed in 2015. In January 2016, the modernization of SA105-104 was announced.

In November 2002, the Wielkopolska government signed a contract for the delivery of five 215M (SA108) vehicles, the first of which will replace the old SU45 locomotives on the Leszno - Ostrów Wielkopolski line from 2003 onwards . Until May 31, 2011 all vehicles were operated by Przewozy Regionalne , from June 1, 2011 some vehicles were transferred to Koleje Wielkopolskie . On March 12, 2014, SA108-002 collided with a bus, killing one person and severely damaging the locomotive.

In September 2002 the Provincial Government of the Lubusz Voivodeship signed a contract for the delivery of four 213Ma. The first vehicle (SA105-101) was used on the reactivated Gorzów Wielkopolski – Międzyrzecz line. The second vehicle (SA105-102) is used on the Żary – Zielona Góra route. In 2005 SA105-104 were delivered in SA105-105, SA108-006 was used from January 2006. From December 2007, a 213Ma vehicle will be used to reactivate the Rzepin – Międzyrzecz line. Type 213Ma vehicles are authorized to use the German rail network for cross-border traffic on the Forst – Żary line.
