The PZL-126 “Mrówka” ( German  ant ) was an agricultural aircraft project from the Polish manufacturer PZL .

history

The basic idea behind this aircraft was to create an inexpensive mini agricultural aircraft for the efficient application of pesticides on smaller areas. In order to save costs, parts of other aircraft produced in Poland were used. The cabin came from the SZD-51 Junior school glider . Particular emphasis in the development was an easy dismantling and the possibility of loading the disarmed aircraft into an An-2 (produced in Poland under license) . A PZL Franklin boxer engine with 44 kW was to be used as the engine . Only a 1: 1 model was made.
