Pablo Cameselle (born December 8, 1970 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is a Spanish- Argentinian opera singer ( tenor ).

life and career

Cameselle began his vocal training in his native Argentina. He made his stage debut in Buenos Aires at the Teatro Colon as Beppe in Gaetano Donizetti's opera Rita and in the St. Matthew Passion of Bach . He won first prize at the Festivales Musicales de Buenos Aires and received a scholarship to study at the Vienna Conservatory , where he studied singing and interpretation. He won various singing prizes, including a. at the “Hariclea Darclee” singing competition in Brăila and at the “Concorso Internazionale Ismaele Voltolini” in Mantua .

In the 2006/07 season he sang the role of Lindoro in the Rossini opera L'italiana in Algeri at the Aalto Theater in Essen .
