Pablo Olivera , full name Pablo Fernando Olivera Fernández , (born December 8, 1987 in Melo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.73-meter-tall offensive player Olivera was part of the squad of the then second division club Cerro Largo FC in the Apertura 2006 and the Clausura 2007 . This was followed in the 2007/08 season a station on loan at the Rampla Juniors in the Primera División . He spent the 2008/09 season again in the ranks of Cerro Largo FC, now playing in the top Uruguayan league, and scored three first division goals. In the Apertura 2009 he played a first division game at River Plate Montevideo , but returned to his hometown Melo in January 2010 for the Clausura 2010 as part of a loan, played 13 first division matches for Cerro Largo FC up to the end of the season and scored three times in the opposing goal . In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons, the statistics show him as a player of River Plate Montevideo 17 and 29 first division games with his participation. He scored four or twelve goals this season. He was also used in a game (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana . In August 2012, River Plate Montevideo loaned him to Portuguese club Moreirense FC . He has 16 games (three goals) in the Primeira Liga , three (one goal) in the League Cup and one (no goal) in the Taça de Portugal for the Portuguese in the 2012/13 season. He then moved to Venezuela for Carabobo FC in July 2013 - again on loan . There he played 36 times in the Primera División in the 2013/14 season and scored 17 goals. In mid-2014, he returned to River Plate Montevideo for several weeks, but did not appear in the first division and joined the second division Central Español on a loan deal in September 2014 . In the 2014/15 season he was used 13 times (one goal) in the second highest Segunda División , but left the club again during the season to start an engagement at Deportivo Táchira in Venezuela in the first days of January 2015 . There he played nine first division games and scored two goals. He was also used in five games (no goal) of the 2015 Copa Libertadores . At the end of July 2015, he moved to the Universidad Guadalajara in Mexico . There he ran in 28 games of Primera A and scored 13 goals. Al Wakrah signed him up in August 2016 . With the Qatar he came to 15 league appearances (two goals). In early February 2017 he joined the first division club Centro Atlético Fénix , for which he completed three first division games (no goal). Since the beginning of July 2017, he has continued his career with the Mexican club Atlético San Luis .
