The Padenga ( Russian Паденьга, Пиндиго ( Pindigo )) is a left tributary of the Waga in the Arkhangelsk Oblast in northwestern Russia .

The Padenga has its origin in the small lake Bolshoye Padengskoje on the western edge of the Shenkursk district . From there it flows mainly in an east-southeast direction. It finally reaches the Waga 20 km south of Schenkursk .

The Padenga has a length of 169 km. It drains an area of ​​1040 km². It is mainly fed by the snowmelt . It is covered with ice between November and April. At least earlier, the river was used for rafting .
