Palmietfontein Circuit

Palmietfontein Circuit is a former automobile racing track in Katlehong in the area of ​​the metropolitan municipality of Ekurhuleni in South Africa .

The 6.115 kilometers (3.8 miles ) long course was built in 1956 on the site of Palmietfontein Airport , which was in use from the mid-1940s to the early 1950s. The route was quite simple and had seven curves, two of which were 180 ° ( Whitehead and Gaze ).
