Pambak near Vanadzor

The Pambak ( Armenian Փամբակ ) is the right source river of the Debed in the Armenian province of Lori .

The Pambak rises in the Pambak Mountains at an altitude of approx. 2200  m . It initially flows in an easterly direction to Vanadzor . The Bazum Mountains run north. Then, the river turns north, crosses through the mountains, and strikes the approach flowing from west dzoraget river , with whom he joins the Debed. The Pambak has a length of 86 km. It drains an area of ​​1370 km². The mean discharge is 10.6 m³ / s.
