Pamela Jiles
Pamela Jiles ( Pamela Theresa "Pam" Jiles ; born July 10, 1955 in New Orleans ) is a former American sprinter .
At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1975 , she won gold over 100 m and silver over 200 m .
The following year, she just missed participation in an individual competition in the US eliminations for the Olympic Games in Montreal as fourth over 100 m and 200 m. Instead, she started in the Olympic 4 x 400 meter relay and won the silver medal in 3: 22.81 minutes behind the GDR relay with the US team consisting of Debra Sapenter , Sheila Ingram , Jiles and Rosalyn Bryant , which set a world record with 3: 19.23 min.
