Rosalyn Bryant
Rosalyn Bryant ( Rosalyn Evette Bryant , married Clark ; born January 7, 1956 in Chicago ) is a former American sprinter .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal she was fifth in the 400 m in 50.65 s after setting a US record in the semifinals with 50.62 s. In the 4 x 400 meter relay , she won the silver medal in 3: 22.81 minutes behind the GDR relay with the US team consisting of Debra Sapenter , Sheila Ingram , Pamela Jiles and Bryant, which was 3: 19.23 min set a world record.
At the Universiade she won gold in the 400 m in 1977 and silver in 1979 and at the Pan American Games in 1979 in San Juan gold in the 4-by-400-meter relay.
In 1983 she was at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki eighth over 400 m and came with the US team in the 4-by-400-meter relay in fifth place.
In 1975 she was US champion over 100 m . She was US runner-up in 1975 over 200 m , 1976 over 100 m and 1981, 1982 and 1983 over 400 m. In the hall she won national titles in 1973, 1975 and 1977 over 220 yards and 1979 over 440 yards.
