Panicher

The Panicher (also Pannicher ) of Volkendorf (today Wolkersdorf am Waginger See ) and Hallersberg were originally ministerials of the Counts of Kraiburg . Later they belonged to the old noble families in the Archdiocese of Salzburg . You took on tasks as a nurse and city judge. Abbesses from the Nonnberg Monastery can also be found in this family. They were also Erbauersgen in Laufen .

For the first time, a Friedrich Panicher appears in 1165 at the 10th knight tournament in Zurich against the Margrave Diepold II of Vohburg . Zacharias Panicher († 1380) and his wife Hildegarde († 1417) are buried in the cloister of the then Salzburg town of Laufen. Georg Panicher was married to Laveia, daughter of Otto Trennbecken. Ulrich Panicher († 1471) was a nurse at Golling in 1460 . His son, the knight, Caspar, was a nurse on Staufeneck in 1499 . Rupert Panicher was a city judge in Salzburg in 1461 , a function that later corresponded to a mayor. In 1471 Primus Panicher was appointed pastor of Kuchl. Wolfgang Panicher was court marshal in Salzburg in 1499 . Georg Panicher was a judge in Lofer . He had two sons, Zacharais and Kaspar, as well as three daughters, one of whom was married to a Greming from Ramingstein . Kaspar Panicher zu Wolkenstorf and Preulau was councilor and court master in Salzburg, provost in der Fusch and district judge in Zell am See (he was still alive in 1572).

Anna Panicher was 1439-1446 and Maria Panicher was 1484-1505 abbess of the monastery Nonnberg.

Hans Panicher was a nurse in Golling, but he turned to Protestantism and therefore had to emigrate in 1564. He was married to Regina von Haunsberg, daughter of Hartneids von Haunsberg. Their son Wolfgang Wilhelm was married to Sarah Flussharting, daughter of Trajan and Johannas von Rohrbach. Their son Ferdinand married a von Neuhaus.

The Panicher had temporarily lock Gartenau , Castle Kahlsperg and the Tower of Panicher in Kuchl.
