Panormos
Panormos (Greek Πάνορμος , roughly “good for landing”; Latin Panormus ) is the name of numerous (port) places in Greece and in the Greek settlement area of antiquity.
Italy:
- City on the north coast of Sicily, today Palermo
Greece and Illyria:
- City and port on the northern tip of Kephallenia, today Fiskardo on Kefalonia
- Panormos (Achaia) , port east of Rhion, today's Rio
- Panormos (Fokida) , place in Fokida on the north bank of the Gulf of Corinth , east of Eratini
- Panormos (Megaris) , port at the eastern end of the Gulf of Corinth in Megaris, at today's Psatha
- Panormos (Skopelos) , port city on Peparethos, today's Skopelos
