The Panzer Brigade 102 was an armored combat unit of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War .

history

The 102nd Panzer Brigade was set up in Denmark at the end of June 1944. The background to the formation was an order from the OKH on July 18, 1944 to reorganize 10 tank brigades. After a two-week short training course at the Bergen military training area in Lower Saxony, the relocation to the Preußisch Eylau area in East Prussia took place on August 20, 1944 . The unit was disbanded in November 1944 at the Arys military training area in East Prussia. Your sub-units were used to refresh the 7th Panzer Division .
