Paolo Bustreo (born March 29, 1983 in Feltre ) is an Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the WSV Sterzing Broncos from the Alps Hockey League since 2018 .

Career

Paolo Bustreo began his career as a hockey player with HC Zoldo , for whose professional team he made his debut in Serie A1 , the top Italian division, in the 1999/2000 season . He then played for two years for SG Cortina in the second-rate Serie A2 , where he came in the 2001/02 season as a loan player to ten missions for the first division club SHC Fassa . After a year with HC Bozen in the A1 series, the attacker played for HC Eppan Pirates in the first and second leagues of Italy from 2003 to 2005 . From 2005 to 2008 he was on the ice for Ritten Sport in the A1 series.

In the summer of 2008, Bustreo switched to the WSV Sterzing Broncos from the A2 series. As a second division champion, he and his team rose to Serie A1 in 2011.

International

For Italy , Bustreo took part in the junior division in the U18 Junior B World Championships in 2000 and 2001 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2001 , 2002 and 2003 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the A World Championships in 2006 , 2007 and 2008 .
