biography

Pangrazzi started with junior and FIS races in the winter of 2003/04 . After he had contested his first European Cup race in January 2006 and was the first time in an FIS race on the podium, he took part in March of the same year in the Junior World Championships 2006 in the Canadian province of Québec . There he finished 16th in the Super-G and was eliminated from all other competitions. Shortly afterwards he became Italian junior downhill champion. After he did not start at the Junior World Championships 2007, he came in the Junior World Championship 2008 in Formigal in the fastest 20 in all competitions, with his best result being sixth in the downhill race. He achieved fourth place in the combined ranking.

On January 25th, 2008 Pangrazzi won his first European Cup points with 27th place in the Super-G of Sarntal / Reinswald . Since then he has competed regularly in the European Cup, but did not finish in the top 30 until one year later. In the 2009/10 season his results improved and on January 14, 2010 he was second on the downhill on the Patscherkofel for the first time on the podium. He achieved his first victory on March 4th in the super combination of Sarntal / Reinswald. After finishing fifth the day before in the first super combination, he also won the discipline classification with this victory and thus received a fixed starting place in the super combination for the next World Cup season.

Pangrazzi made his World Cup debut on January 14, 2011 in the first super combination of the 2010/11 season in Wengen ; with 22nd place he immediately won his first World Cup points. A little more than two weeks later, on January 30th, he achieved his best World Cup result to date with eighth place in the Super Combined in Chamonix . At the 2011 World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he achieved sixth place in this discipline. In the 2011/12 season Pangrazzi only came to three appearances in the World Cup, in which he remained without points.
