Park Jong-Min

Park Jong-Min , also Jongmin Park or Jong Min Park (born November 17, 1986 in Seoul ) is a South Korean opera singer ( bass ).

Life

Jong-Min Park won first prize at the XVII as a student. National Association for Music competition and gold in the third competition of the National Company of Lyric Opera. He studied singing at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, then at the Scala Academy in Milan with Mirella Freni , Luciana Serra , Luigi Alva , Renato Bruson and Vincent Scalera . From the beginning of the 2010/2011 season he was a permanent member of the ensemble in Hamburg. He has been a member of the Vienna State Opera ensemble since 2013.

His repertoire includes a. Sarastro from the Magic Flute , Sparafucile from Rigoletto , Bartolo from Figaro's wedding and the king from Aida .
