The parliamentary elections in Åland in 1991 took place on October 20, 1991.

The Liberals left the government with the Center and the Liberal Cooperation after the elections. The Social Democrats were newly admitted to the government, creating a center-left alliance.

Electoral system

The 30 members of the Lagting were elected by proportional representation , with the seats being determined using the D'Hondt method .
