Parliamentary elections in Egypt 1950

The parliamentary elections in Egypt in 1950 took place on January 3 and 10, 1950. It was the last parliamentary election in the Kingdom of Egypt , which was converted into a republic after a military coup in 1952 . 225 of the 319 seats went to the Wafd party , 28 to the Sa'd party , 25 to the Liberal-Constitutionalist Party and 40 to various small parties and independents.
