Parliamentary elections in Egypt 1995
Parliamentary elections were held in Egypt on November 29, 1995 in two rounds.
The second round took place on December 6, 1995 for the remaining 168 seats in the Egyptian People's Assembly .
The result was a victory for the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP), which won a total of 318 of the 454 seats. After this election, 99 of the 112 independent MPs joined the NDP. With 10,072,017 voters, the turnout was 47.99%. 259,075 ballots were invalid or blank.
