Pat Rebillot

Pat Rebillot (born April 21, 1935 in Louisville , Ohio ) is an American jazz and fusion musician ( keyboards , piano , e-piano , organ ) and arranger .

Rebillot worked as a session musician a. a. with Hugh McCracken, Tony Levin , Steve Gadd , Ray Barretto and Ralph MacDonald . He was a long-time member of Herbie Mann's bands , for whom he also acted as arranger. Rebillot also worked on recordings by John Klemmer , Steely Dan ( Gaucho ), the Average White Band , Gloria Gaynor , Bette Midler , Flora Purim , Hall & Oates , Bob Belden , Paul Desmond / Don Sebesky , Frank Foster ( Soul Outing ! , 1966 ), David Friedman ( Futures Passed 1976), David "Fathead" Newman , Jon Faddis , Dick Morrissey / Jim Mullen and Joe Thomas with. Under his own name he released the album Free Fall , produced by Herbie Mann, on Atlantic Records in 1974 , with Tony Levin on bass, Steve Gadd on drums, Armen Halburian (percussion) and Sam T. Brown (guitar). In the field of jazz and fusion music, Rebillot participated in 118 recording sessions between 1966 and 2001. He worked u. a. also on the soundtrack of the feature film O Brother, Where Art Thou? - A Mississippi Odyssey (2000) by the Coen brothers .
