The first recording in 1977 was Donizetti's Ugo, conte di Parigi with Alun Francis and the cast Janet Price , Yvonne Kenny , Della Jones , Maurice Arthur , Eiddwen Harrhy and Christian du Plessis .

The range of opera productions is now thirty, mainly operas from the 19th century. Patric Schmid produced many recordings of the opera productions for the "Peter Moore Foundation".
