Patricia Marand

Patricia Marand (born January 25, 1934 in Brooklyn , New York City , † November 27, 2008 in Manhattan , New York City) was an American actress .

Life

Patricia Marand made her first appearance on Broadway in 1952 . In 598 performances she played "Teddy Stern" in the musical Whish You Were Here by Arthur Kober and Joshua Logan . She also jumped in as a substitute actress in Logan's hit production South Pacific , which won a Tony Award for best musical and the Pulitzer Prize in 1950. In 1966 she played " Lois Lane " in the musical It's a Bird ... It's a Plane ... It's Superman . She was nominated for a Tony Award for her portrayal.

In 2000 she had her only appearance in a television series as a guest in The Sopranos .
