Patricia Peill

Patricia Peill , b. Schoeller (born November 15, 1962 in Göttingen ) is a German politician (CDU) and has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament since June 1, 2017 .

Life

After working in Switzerland and Canada , Patricia Peill graduated from high school in Munich. In Vienna , she studied business administration at the city's University of Economics . She did her PhD on intercultural management in joint ventures in China .

Patricia Peill is married and has four children. She lives on the farm near Nörvenich in the Düren district .

politics

Peill was elected in the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 in the state constituency of Düren I with 41.5% of the first votes in direct elections to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. She succeeded Josef Wirtz , who no longer stood for election.

As a knowledgeable citizen, Peill is represented in the Nörvenich municipal council. She is the youth committee chairwoman of the community, a member of the district council in the Düren district and a member of the school and district development committee.

voluntary work

Patricia Peill is very committed to people. She was involved in setting up the Chillout youth center in Nörvenich, and is involved in the Nörvenich refugee aid organization Nörvenich hilft e. V. and was a co-founder of the youth council. She is also the deputy chairman of the “Desertfood” foundation, which enables the agricultural use of desert land in Kenya through modular solar-powered desalination systems.

Peill has been chairwoman of the District Women's Union of Aachen since 2013. In 2019 she was re-elected with 100% of the votes cast. On September 14, 2019, Peill was elected as an assessor to the federal executive committee of the Women's Union with 88% of the vote .
