Patricia Wissel
Patricia Wissel (born October 24, 1975 in Bautzen ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She has been a member of the Saxon State Parliament since 2009 .
Life
After attending the Lessing High School in Neukirch , Wissel completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk from 1992 to 1995 and then worked in the network for child and youth work in Bischofswerda from 1996 to 2001 . After training as a press and public relations officer in 2002/2003, she initially worked for the Saxon State Foundation for Nature and Environment in the field of public relations until 2004, then became an employee of a member of the Saxon state parliament and then from 2005 to 2009 office manager and personal assistant to a member of the state parliament German Bundestag .
Patricia Wissel is an Evangelical Lutheran denomination.
politics
Wissel is a member of the CDU. Wissel is chairwoman of the CDU local association Neukirch / L and a member of the executive board of the CDU district association Bautzen. She worked on the board of the Frauen Union Bautzen. In the state elections in 2009 she won the direct mandate in the constituency of Bautzen 1 (constituency 51). From April 2012 to 2014 she was one of 19 members of the first Saxon NSU investigative committee "Neo-Nazi terror networks in Saxony" in the state parliament . She was able to defend her constituency in the 2014 state election . In the Landtag, she is a full member of the Committee for Rural Areas, Environment and Agriculture. As a deputy member, she works on the economic committee. She is also a member of the Enquete Commission "Ensuring the supply and further development of quality in the care of the elderly in the Free State of Saxony". In the state elections in Saxony in 2019 , she was unable to defend her direct mandate against the AfD candidate with a very narrow result, but remained a member of the state parliament thanks to her 10th place on the state list.
