Patrick Guillou (born April 16, 1970 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a former French football player .

Career

Guillou began his professional career in 1988 with Freiburg FC . In 1990 he moved to the Bundesliga for VfL Bochum , where he played nine games. Guillou moved to AS Saint-Étienne in 1997 through Stade Rennes , LB Châteauroux and Red Star Paris . After brief stints at FC Walsall , Hibernian Edinburgh and FC Sochaux , I returned to Saint-Étienne. His last club was FC Rouen before retiring in 2005.

After his career as a professional footballer, he worked as an assistant coach alongside coach Willy Sagnol at Girondins Bordeaux and alongside coach Valérien Ismaël at VfL Wolfsburg .
