Patrick Wasserziehr

Patrick Wasserziehr (born April 19, 1966 in Bonn ) is a German television presenter and commentator .

life and career

Wasserziehr grew up in Bonn. He attended the Helmholtz high school in Bonn . Since 1992 he has been working, with a short interruption, as an interviewer, presenter and commentator for the television channel Sky Deutschland (formerly Premiere ). In the 1999/2000 season he spent a year with the TM3 broadcaster , where he hosted the UEFA Champions League broadcasts .

For Sky, he is regularly used for live broadcasts of the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League and the DFB Cup . Since summer 2009 he has also been the moderator of the “Sky90” football debate on Monday evening (Sunday evening until the end of the 2016/2017 Bundesliga season). His most prominent guests from the world of football included Pelé , Franz Beckenbauer , Günter Netzer , Uli Hoeneß , Jürgen Klopp and Ottmar Hitzfeld . He also welcomed various greats in the entertainment industry, such as Thomas Gottschalk , Günther Jauch , Frank Elstner and Campino .

As part of his work for Sky, he also reported on the FIFA World Cup in 1994 in the USA , 1998 in France , 2002 in Japan / South Korea and 2006 in Germany .

Patrick Wasserziehr lives in Hamburg . He is married and has three children.
