Patrik Majer

Patrik Majer (born April 20, 1971 in Děčín , Czechoslovakia ) is a Berlin music producer , sound engineer and musician of Czech origin. Majer became known through his collaboration with the German pop bands Wir sind Helden und Tele , previously he was a producer for Nina Hagen , No Angels , Rosenstolz , Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and Lemonbabies .

Life

Majer grew up in Berlin. At the age of 15 he completed an internship with the studio manager and producer Tom Müller in the Berlin Hansa recording studios . After training as a sound engineer at the SAE , he was first assistant in Vielklang Studio of Jörg Fukking and the audio recording studios of Udo Arndt .

In 2001 he founded the Freudenhaus Studios and the associated Freudenhaus Musikverlag . In 2006 he won the Echo (music award) in the “best producer” category.
