So and so is the third studio album by the German pop group Wir sind Helden . It was released on May 25, 2007 by EMI Music .
History and success
The band withdrew from the public in autumn 2006 because of the pregnancy of singer Judith Holofernes and began working on the successor to the album Von hier an blind . The search for an album title turned out to be difficult because it combines many different directions, especially thematically. So a term had to be found that says everything but does not exclude a title. The choice fell on Soundso , "so you have to say: kennste already so and so? And: I like so and so better / not so much than / like Dingsbums, here, well, the ones with hello and just a word ”is the reasoning of the band.
“When searching for the album title, we realized that we couldn't find a name that would do the whole album justice, that every suggestion seemed to sum up something that couldn't be summed up. If a name fits halfway through the songs, some other song has stepped out of line and says, 'Uh, but I don't.' mumbled. "
Shortly after the publication rose -and-so in the German Top 100 album charts and reached there in second place, just in Austria. In Switzerland, the album rose to number 11 in the charts.
