Patrizia Ritondo

Patrizia Ritondo (born September 18, 1974 in Petralia Sottana ) is a former Italian marathon runner .

In 1996 she won the Roma - Ostia race , the Cesano Boscone Marathon in 1997 , the Piacenza Marathon in 1998 and the Maratona dei Tre Comuni in 1999 .

In 2000 she was twelfth in the Rome Marathon and fifth overall in the Turin Marathon, Italian champion. She defended this title the following year as the overall winner of the Maratona d'Italia . In 2003 she came second in the Florence Marathon .

At the World Half Marathon Championships she finished 30th in Palma in 1996 and 45th in Vilamoura in 2003 .
