Patty Walters (born September 12, 1991 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) is an American rock musician and former web video producer .

Career

Web video producer

Walters started his musical career on the video platform YouTube at the age of 17, where he covered pieces by well-known pop-punk bands such as Paramore and All Time Low as well as well-known Disney classics and interpreted them in his own way. His videos achieved over 32 million clicks on YouTube. In 2012 Walters ended his career as a Youtuber in order to concentrate on his activity in the band As It Is .

Musician

In 2012 Walters stopped his YouTube activities in order to concentrate on his pop-punk band As It Is , which released two EPs up to a signed record deal with Fearless Records .

Since then he released with the band with Never Happy, Ever After in 2015, okay. two years later and The Great Depression in 2018 three full studio albums.

At the beginning of 2018, Walters joined the pop-rock band of web video producer and internet comedian Jarrod Alonge Crazy Eighty Eight as a bass player . Alonge and Walters have already worked together in the past on an album release by the pop-punk parody band Sunrise Skater Kids , in which Walters recorded a guest part in the song Nothing Special from the album Friendville .

Personal

Patty Walters was born in Minnesota and has one sister. Walters suffers from depression and anxiety . At a concert with his band on the Warped Tour , he said that he was terrified of his own performances. The guitarist of the band Palaye Royale , Sebastian Danzig, took up this and criticized Walters for his statement. However, the misunderstandings were quickly cleared up.
