Paul-Gerhard Franke

Paul-Gerhard Franke (born January 14, 1918 in Leipzig ; † August 18, 1996 in Munich ) was a German hydraulic engineer and university professor .

Life

In 1953 he completed his studies with a doctorate on the subject of the drain under a sharp-edged planschützen at the Technical University of Munich . In 1954 he qualified as a professor there with Der Wechselprung with free cover roller . From 1956 to 1986 he was a publicly appointed expert for hydraulics and hydraulic engineering . From 1957 to 1958 he was visiting professor at the College of Engineering Pune in India and a UNESCO expert. In 1960 he received the professorship for hydraulics and hydrology at the Technical University of Munich.
