Paul Bernard Bird
Paul Bernard Bird CSsR (born July 17, 1949 in Newcastle ) is Bishop of Ballarat .
Life
Paul Bernard Bird joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists at that laid profession on 11 February 1968 and became the Bishop of Maitland , John Thomas Toohey on May 17, 1975 priests ordained.
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Ballarat on August 1, 2012 . The Archbishop of Melbourne , Denis Hart , donated him episcopal ordination on October 16 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Peter Joseph Connors , Former Bishop of Ballarat, and Leslie Rogers Tomlinson , Bishop of Sandhurst .
