Paul Bertemes

Paul Bertemes (* 1953 in Luxembourg ) is a journalist , curator and translator .

Life

Bertemes is the son of the painter Roger Bertemes and brother of the prehistorian François Bertemes . He received his doctorate in 1983 from the University of Saarbrücken with a thesis on the relationship between the cycle of illustrations and text in the Roland song of Pfaffen Konrad . Among other things, he wrote for the newspaper Letzeburger Land (abbreviation: pbs ) and for the forum for politics, society and culture , and published works on the fine arts (exhibition catalogs, etc.). In 2004 he founded the culture promotion agency mediArt with Jean Colling , for which he a. a. works as a curator .
