Paul Brusa

Paul Brusa (* 1985 in Ebersberg ) is a German - Italian actor .

Life

Paul Brusa initially trained as an office clerk and then completed his community service .

He gained his first stage experience in several amateur groups (Kultfabrik Munich, Junge Bühne Markt Schwaben and in the youth club of the Munich State Theater). From 2008 to 2012 he studied acting at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz . During his training, he played the role of Hasan in the Austrian premiere of the play Verrücktes Blut (by Nurkan Erpulat and Jens Hillje) in Garage X Vienna in 2012 . During his studies he also appeared in productions at the Landestheater Linz , the Theater Phönix in Linz and the Stadttheater Neuburg. In 2010 he appeared at the Croatian National Theater Osijek as Schürzinger in Kasimir and Karoline .

After completing his studies, several productions and piece contracts followed at the Paderborn Theater . In the 2013/14 season he was a guest at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt . In October 2014 he performed at the German State Theater Timişoara . 2014–2015 he played the role of Cléante in Der Geizige at the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof in Munich (director: Nikolaus Paryla ). From 2015–2016 he was a member of the ensemble at the Heidelberg Theater.

From 2016 to 2019 he was then a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Lüneburg , where he played numerous roles in the classical and modern theater repertoire and also took part in several children's and youth theater productions. His main roles there included u. a. of Hamlet (2016-2017), the writer of light in The Broken Jug and the minstrel Volker in Die Nibelungen (2018-2019).

In 2019 he was a guest at the Neersen Castle Festival and at the Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim .

In the 19th season of the ZDF series Die Rosenheim-Cops , Brusa takes on the role of the new controller Daniel Donato from episode 447 (February 2020).

Brusa also appears as a reciter with literary programs and is active as a speaker for radio productions and radio plays . He also works as an acting lecturer for body training as well as scene and role work in Munich.

Brusa, who also has Italian citizenship, lives in Munich.
