Paul Cormann

Paul Cormann (born September 20, 1868 in Koblenz , † February 3, 1952 in Wiesbaden ) was a German judge.

Life

After graduating from high school in Saarbrücken in 1887 , Cormann studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University . On October 5, 1887 , he renounced the Corps Hasso-Nassovia , which reciprocated him in December 1888 . In 1890 he took the first and in 1895 the second legal exam. In 1900 he came to the public prosecutor's office at Cologne Regional Court , where he was promoted to chief prosecutor in 1903. On April 1, 1904, he went to the Reich Ministry of Justice as an unskilled worker , which appointed him to the second criminal law commission from 1912 to 1914. During the First World War he was a member and legal advisor of the royal Prussian heraldry from 1914 to 1917 . In the Weimar Republic in 1919 he became President of the Stettin Higher Regional Court . In 1933 he was retired at his own request. He retired in Wiesbaden. He was married to Auguste born in 1898. Hahn from Idar-Oberstein , with whom he had two daughters. One, Gustel, married Bill Cormann Giessen .
