Paul Feldheim (* in the 19th century ; † in the 20th century ) was a German editor and publisher a . a. from postcards and owner of the art publisher Welt-Sport .

life and work

At the beginning of the 20th century, Paul Feldheim ran his art publishing house of the same name in what was then Georgstraße 19 in Hanover . According to the German leaves for warnings, arts and crafts lessons from 1904 he expelled from there in the light pressure multiplied so-called " Heide - Postcards ". The reproductions showed motifs by the landscape painter Rudolf Hermanns and were considered “excellent study material for teachers and pupils” for their own studies with a sketchbook when hiking in the heath.

Also around 1904 Feldheim published a collection of postcards with views of barrows in the Prussian province of Hanover , which the deaf and dumb teacher Otto Ebert in Dresden used as illustrative material in the meeting reports and treatises of the Isis Natural Science Society .

At around the same time, Paul Feldheim and his company, also known as the “Kunst-Verlag Welt-Sport”, produced colored postcards with motifs from the city of Hanover.

For the military history of the Kingdom of Hanover , Feldheim produced a series of 24 consecutively numbered multicolored postcards with animated motifs and uniforms of the Hanoverian army .
