Paul Garcet

Paul Garcet (born January 6, 1901 in Koekelberg , a suburb of Brussels , † January 23, 1945 in Dachau ) was a Belgian labor leader and resistance fighter .

Life

Garcet founded together with the priest Joseph Cardijn and Fernand Tonnet the Christian youth workers in Belgium . He was arrested by the National Socialists as a resistance fighter and died in captivity in the Dachau concentration camp .
