Paul Leibküchler

Paul Leibküchler (* 1873 in Berlin ; † 1938 there ) was a German sculptor and medalist .

Life

Leibküchler studied at the Berlin Art Academy and worked as a freelancer in Berlin. He created fountain figures such as the boy with a fish on the fountain on Kissinger Platz in Berlin-Schmargendorf , portrait busts such as the busts of Paul von Hindenburg , Karl Helfferich and Rudolf Havenstein from 1915, as well as bronze statuettes in the Art Deco style , many with images of figures from ancient mythology such as Sisyphus , Diana or Atlas , but also animal figures such as the creeping panther . The Lauchhammer and Gladenbeck fine art foundries implemented many of Leibküchler's works by hand.
