At the subsequent Junior World Championships in Haute-Maurienne , she was eighth in the pursuit and ninth in the individual. In 2005 she won her first European Cup race with the relay in Ridnaun . In individual races she made it into the top ten several times. The highlight of the season was the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti , with ninth places in individual and relay as the best results.

In the 2005/06 season she reached three podium places in the European Cup. In Windischgarsten , she won her first European Cup with the pursuit race. The season highlight was again the Junior World Championships, where she won silver in the relay behind Germany and in the individual. At the Junior European Championships in Langdorf she won medals in all four races: gold in the individual, silver in the sprint and bronze with the pursuit and with the relay.

In the following 2006/07 season she was used more often in the World Cup. Outstanding placement was a 14th place in the individual by Hochfilzen . At the Junior World Championships in Martell , she just missed medals as fourth in the individual and in the pursuit. Then she started in Antholz for the first time at the biathlon world championships . It was used in the sprint (44th) and the pursuit (37th). Macabies live from their good shooting performance in competition, which is why they usually do better in singles and in pursuits, where four shots have to be taken, than in the sprint, where only two shots are taken and the mileage is more important.
