Paulo Marcos de Jesus Ribeiro , called Paulão , (born February 25, 1986 in Salvador da Bahia ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

In his first season as a first division player in 2009, he only played once. In the following season he moved to Gremio Proto Alegre, but was only a reserve player here. For the 2011 season Paulão then went to China , where he came to more frequent appearances and was able to celebrate his first successes.

In 2013 the player was loaned to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte in Brazil . At Cruzeiro he was a reservist again and only made two appearances when he won the Brazilian championship that year . For the 2014 season Paulão then moved to SC International in Porto Alegre . From the 2017 season he was loaned to other clubs. He joined América Mineiro in August 2018 . Paulão left the club in early October 2019 while the Série B was being held . He went to Série A for Fortaleza EC .
