Pavol Novák

Pavol Novák (born March 26, 1979 in Banská Bystrica ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Pavol Novák started internationally for the first time at the Junior World Championships in Jericho . The first good result was an eighth place in the individual at the Junior World Championships the following year, which took place in Pokljuka . In 2000 he made his debut in Ruhpolding in the Biathlon World Cup . With the Slovak relay he retired after lapping. In 2001 he took part in the biathlon world championships in Pokljuka for the first time . The best placements was a 75th place in the individual and an 18th place in relay. In Osrblie he won his first World Cup point in 2003 as 30th in the sprint. In Oberhof he achieved his best World Cup result as 17th in the sprint at the 2004 Biathlon World Championships . After the World Cup he went to Östersund at the Military World Championships , where Novák was 20th in the sprint and sixth in the patrol run.
