Pawłokoma

Pawłokoma (Ukrainian Павлокома ) is a village in Poland in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship . The village is part of the Dynów Commune .

The village is about 50 kilometers west of the Polish state border with Ukraine .

history

The first documentary mention of Pawłokomas took place on October 13, 1441. There was a Greek Catholic church and a Ukrainian school there. 1370 inhabitants lived in the village. Most of them are Ukrainians.

In March 1945 the Pawłokoma massacre took place here .
