Pawel Vladimirovich Shabalin ( Russian Павел Владимирович Шабалин ; born October 23, 1988 in Yermak , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh football player who has been under contract with Ertis Pavlodar in the Premjer League since 2017 .

Career

Shabalin began his career with Ertis Pavlodar , where he played in the second team from 2006 to 2007. In the 2007 season he was used for the first time in the professional team in the super league. After Pavlodar had finished the 2008 season in third place in the table, the club took part in qualifying for the 2009/10 Europa League . Here he made his debut on July 9, 2009 in the game against Haladás Szombathely (2-1), when he came on for Wladimir Noskov in the 59th minute.

For the 2014 season he moved to FK Aqtöbe , where he was used as a regular player. With Aqtöbe he had his first game in the Champions League against Dinamo Tiflis on July 16, 2014 , which ended with a 0-1 away win.

National team

Shabalin made his debut in the Kazakh U-21 national team on March 29, 2009 against Israel (1-1). He made his first appearance for the Kazakh national soccer team in a friendly against Bulgaria on June 4, 2013, when he came on for Ulan Konysbajew in the 73rd minute .
