Pedro Mairata Gual (born January 15, 1979 in Manacor ) is a former Spanish football player .

Player career

The beginnings

Pedro Mairata started his career as a footballer in the 2002/2003 season at the lower class Club CD Constancia . The following year he switched to the second agency of UD Las Palmas . There he became a regular and then went to the third-rate B-team from UD Levante , where the defender made his breakthrough with three goals in 35 games.

As a professional

In the summer of 2005, Pedro Mairata signed a contract with the second division club SD Eibar . For him personally, the game went well with two goals in 30 games and he was able to prove his qualities in professional football, but Eibar was relegated from bottom of the table. For this reason, Mairata moved to league rivals UD Almería . With the Andalusians they were promoted to the first division, but since the defender was usually only a substitute, he had to leave the club after only one year.

He did this and went to Gimnàstic de Tarragona , who had been relegated the previous year , where he was able to build on earlier performances right away. He fought with the club for five years against relegation from the Segunda División , which was unavoidable at the end of the 2011/12 season . Mairata went with his club in the Segunda División B , where he missed promotion in the 2012/13 season. He joined league rivals Atlético Baleares in the summer of 2013 . He played for the club for two years before joining Majorcan rival CD Llosetense in the summer of 2015 . With the promoted team, he was relegated at the end of the 2015/16 season and remained loyal to the club in the Tercera División . He missed promotion and moved to his home club CD Constancia in the summer of 2017, where he ended his career in 2018.
