Pedro Spínola

Pedro Spínola (born August 20, 1983 in Funchal ) is a Portuguese handball player who is mostly used on the right back area.

The 1.87 m tall and 88 kg heavy left-hander first played for the Portuguese club Belenenses Lisbon , where he made his international debut in the EHF Cup in 2008/09 and scored 40 goals. In 2009 he moved to FC Porto (jersey number 13), with whom he 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 champion was. With Porto he reached the round of 16 in the EHF Cup 2010/11 and 2011/12 and the group stage of the EHF Champions League 2013/14 , in which he scored 23 goals. In the summer of 2014 he moved to Sporting Lisbon .

Pedro Spínola is part of the Portuguese national team . So far, he has played at least eleven internationals in which he scored 28 goals. (As of February 28, 2014)
