Pedro Warnke (born March 22, 1945 in Brazil ) is a graphic designer (including the Posthörnchen ) and has lived in Germany since 1954, now in Trebur .

education and profession

After school education followed an apprenticeship and journeyman year as typesetter in Frankfurt am Main and then training as a graphic designer at the Werkkunstschule in Kassel .

Art in the city

In 1969, together with his wife Ursula Warnke and Walter Hoffmann, he organized the “operations” in the Museum Fridericianum in Kassel , with the participation of over 120 artists from all over Germany. The art came here in Kassel on the road and the first time conquered action space in the City.

Exhibitions and art funding

After a conception of "GG perspective" developed by him in 1990, he was also in charge of this sponsorship award from the district town of Groß-Gerau for young artists, which was awarded to students at German art academies.

Warnke has so far only shown his own artistic work in solo exhibitions in Groß-Gerau, Frankfurt am Main , Mainz , Titisee-Neustadt , Bad Honnef , Maria Laach , Łódź , Krakow , Warsaw and Bad Pyrmont.

Anniversary celebration and installation

On March 22, 2005, Pedro Warnke celebrated his 60th birthday in the group of the GG initiative and the installation in motion “plastique folie - bonne continuation!” By Ingrid Zwoch.
