Per Hållberg (born March 24, 1978 in Örnsköldsvik ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Asplöven HC in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan since 2012 .

Career

Per Hållberg began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth of MoDo Hockey Örnsköldsvik , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Elitserien in the 1994/95 season . He gave a template in two games. After eight years, the defender left MODO in the summer of 2002 and signed with the reigning champions Färjestad BK , with whom he was in the playoff finals in the following four seasons. After three runner-up titles, he won the Swedish championship for the first time in his career in the 2005/06 season .

In the summer of 2006 Hållberg moved to EV Zug in the Swiss National League A , for which he scored 22 points in a total of 41 games in the 2006/07 season . He then returned to his ex-club MODO Hockey, which won the Swedish championship for the first time last year and for which he was on the ice until the end of the 2010/11 season. In early June 2011, he agreed on a one-year contract with the Elitserien-promoted Växjö Lakers Hockey . For the following season he was signed by the second division Asplöven HC .

International

For Sweden , Hållberg took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 1997 and 1998 and the World Championships in 2004 , 2006 and 2007 .
