The Asplöven HC is established in 1972 Swedish ice hockey club from Haparanda . The team plays in hockey and plays their home games in the Arena Polarica .

history

The club was founded in 1972. In the 2000s, the club established itself in the third class Division 1 and failed several times only in relegation on promotion, so also in 2012. However, since Borås HC did not receive a license for the 2012/13 season for financial reasons, the Asplöven HC advanced as Third place in the relegation automatically. After a temporary relegation, the team is now back in the third division, which is now called hockeyettan .
