Perdita Felicien (born August 29, 1980 in Oshawa ) is a Canadian hurdler who specializes in the 100-meter course .

At the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis, she surprisingly won the gold medal in 12.53 s. After she also won the World Indoor Championships in Budapest in the 60 meter hurdles in 2004 and increased her 100 meter hurdle best to 12.46 s, she was also one of the favorites over 100 meter hurdles at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. After she had set the fastest time in the semifinals with 12.49 s, she ran into the first hurdle in the finals, fell and was eliminated. Your time from the semi-finals would have been enough for a bronze medal. Olympic champion was Joanna Hayes in 12.37 s.

The 2005 World Championships in Helsinki did not bring the Canadian any luck either. She was disappointed with a time of 12.94 s in the semi-finals. At the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, she won the silver medal in 12.49 s.

Perdita Felicien is 1.65 m tall and has a competition weight of 57 kg. She is an athlete ambassador for the development aid organization Right to Play .
