Anton Pergelt

Anton Pergelt (born January 11, 1853 in Obergrund, today Horní Podluží , † October 8, 1910 in Vienna ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician . He was a member of the Imperial Council and the Bohemian Landtag .

biography

Pergelt was born into a family of industrialists and went to high school in Bohemian Leipa . He studied law in Prague and Vienna. During his studies in 1873 he became a member of the Albia Vienna fraternity . In 1881 he was promoted to Dr. iur. doctorate and from 1886 was an independent court and court advocate in Vienna. In 1892 he became a member of the Reichsrat for the Rumburg - Schönlinde district . Here he belonged first to the left wing of the United German Left , but resigned from this in 1896 together with all Bohemian MPs. Subsequently he was a co-founder and chairman of the German Progressive Party in Bohemia for many years . He was re-elected in his old constituency in 1897 and in the Warnsdorf constituency in 1901 . From 1895 to 1910 he was also a member of the Bohemian state parliament for the Rumburg-Warnsdorf electoral district.
